| Plug‘n’Rock: the BEHRINGER iAXE393 USB-Guitar
BEHRINGER, a leading global designer, manufacturer and distributor of professional audio and musical instrument products, today announced that the BEHRINGER iAXE393 USB-Guitar will be available immediately around the globe with an exclusive software package developed by Native Instruments.
Unveiled at the Frankfurter Musikmesse in April 2006, the BEHRINGER iAXE393 USB-Guitar connects directly to the computer (either PC or Mac) through its built-in USB port, allowing jamming and producing out-of-the-box. The guitar features a maple neck with three single-coil pickups, five-way switching and an integrated headphones jack. Alternatively, the iAXE393 USB-Guitar can also be played with any real amplifier. Additional software which comes bundled with the iAXE393 USB-Guitar gives the user enhanced editing and recording options.
GINI iTube
The good: The GINI iTube has excellent sound quality; adds warmth to compressed files; can be used with non-iPods. The bad: The GINI iTube is bulky and to some eyes, ugly; must add iConec (or equivalent) dock accessory for ultimate iPod integration. Kustom Amplification proudly celebrates its 40th Anniversary with the introduction of two series of Limited Edition guitar amplifiers. Sporting cool racing-style stripes, the 40th Anniversary Coupe® Series consists of three models while the new '66 DART™ takes Kustom's popular 10-watt guitar amp platform and gives it a full-on "Tuck n' Roll" visual treatment. The 40th Anniversary Coupe Series amplifiers will be available in 1x12 (36-watt) and 2x12 (72-watt) combo amp formats as well as a 2x10, 36-watt version - a new configuration for the Coupe Series. In keeping with the Anniversary theme, only 40 of each model will be manufactured. The padded Tuck n' Roll panels of each Anniversary Coupe are crafted using the original Uniroyal® Naugahide material but with a bold racing stripe added and a special "1966 - 2006" embroidered logo stitched directly onto the colored panel.
